The Huffington Post had an article that named my Maple Pumpkin Spice Lattes among the top 10 pumpkin recipes. First it made the top 100, and then made the final cut to the top 10. Yay!
The Phoenix New Times said, "We really can't get enough of how pretty and easy these (Caramel) Apples came out. They will be the hit of any fall party."
I don't know if you've ever seen a turtle smile, but this news put a big grin on Yummy's cute little turtle face. And mine.

Among tips that were mentioned on my Facebook page this week:
I shared that my caramel apples were still fresh and delicious 6 days after they were made. I had bagged them up and stored them at room temperature. I love that these can be made well in advance to serve or give as gifts.
Steffani, a Yummy reader and Facebook friend, shared that she plans to make caramel apples for Christmas gifts for teachers and church friends. She suggested using red and green sprinkles on them. I love this idea! Caramel apples don't have to be just for Halloween.
Mouth watering recipes from other bloggers:
There simply aren't enough days in the week to try all of the great recipes that I come across. I chose these seasonal recipes from fellow bloggers who made comments on my blog posts. These look particularly delicious. I'm anxious to try them all. In the meantime, here are their links in case you'd like to add any of these to your fall cooking plans.
Pumpkin Belgian Waffles. I love waffles and I love pumpkin. These look like a perfect fall breakfast. I'm thinking they'be good with toasted pecans sprinkled on top or mixed in the batter. And maple syrup, of course.
Giant Pumpkin Molasses Cookies. My mother-in-law always had a jar a molasses cookie for the grandkids when we came to visit. I love the pumpkin added to this recipe. And, they're giant sized. More (and bigger) is always better, right?
To all of my Yummy readers and fellow bloggers, thanks for the great ideas. And, thanks for visiting my blog and joining the conversation.
Make it a yummy day!
